Teach me Your Ways, Oh Lord and Let me Not Stray ...

Psalms 119:
24 Your (God's) laws are my greatest joy! I follow their advice.
30 I am determined to be faithful and to respect your laws.
32 I am eager to learn all that you want me to do; help me to understand more and more.
34 Help me to understand your Law; I promise to obey it with all my heart.
37 Take away my foolish desires, and let me find life by walking with you.

Love Somebody!

Love a Stranger today with a smile, a kind gesture or loving word of encouragement. Love is not difficult ... just show them Christ through you!

Love is simple: a smile ... a pat on the back ... a kind word ... a strong hug ... a vote of confidence. Stop trying to complicate love with nonsense. GO! Love a stranger today that carries the weight of their difficult life. Wipe away a tear and comfort a heavy heart with a simple gesture of kindness. Have a great day, my beloved friends. I love you.

Sustenance

We as saved Christians are spiritually attached
to the divine trinity
just as our veins are attached
to main organs
all throughout our physical bodies.
When we thirst,
we have but to drink
from the spiritual veins of Christ
(thirst no more, my child,
thirst no more),
syphoned from the well
of Father Yahweh,
through Yeshuah the Savior,
then served to us ...
a nice warm glass of divinity-
"Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!"
The blood of Christ:
our Sustenance for our salvation;
Do you not thirst?
Then drink deeply, my beloved;
quench yourself with His
comfort and peace,
and thirst no more.

Contemplating my humanity

Thoughtfully processing life, choices, actions and lack there-of ... sometimes being a "better" person slips beyond me and I'm always left feeling so defeated and empty. It's in those moments I remember my humanity and I find myself feeling so grateful and fortunate to have Jesus waiting with His comforting arms ... and then I can feel a little better about myself. Not great really, but ... better.

Thing is, the problems don't go away, but when Christ is carrying the weight of them, they're so much easier to face! Thank you Jesus. I am grateful beyond words.

Drink, Steal, Swear and Lie

This is an interesting way of putting it.

DRINK, STEAL, SWEAR & LIE

I met this guy while I was in Albuquerque and he has
a motto he lives by everyday. He said listen carefully and
live by these 4 rules : Drink, Steal, Swear, & Lie.

I was shaking my head 'no', but he then told me to listen
while he explained his four rules. So here they are :

1.. "Drink" from the "everlasting cup" every day.

2.. "Steal" a moment to help someone that is in worse shape than
you are.

3.. "Swear" that you will be a better person today than
yesterday.

4.. And last, but not least, when you "lie" down at night
thank God you live in America and have freedom.

I am not as good as I should be, I am not as good as I could
be.

But THANK GOD, I am better than I used to be !

And I say a BIGTIME Amen! to that.
