There is this ever-growing belief that "everyone" gets to heaven - no matter what they've done or how they have lived. What a spit into the face of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. Our God is a God of justice. Do you really believe that those unrepentant of the horrors they have commited against humankind go unpunished? Do you really believe you can cuss Him, spit at His name and deny Him your entire life and - HEY, no worries ... welcome to heaven anyway?
People have lost their minds! They are so desperate to live the lives that they see fit without any consequences, that they're even disecting the Bible to try (TRY, mind you) and manipulate it to mean whatever it is THEY choose to have it mean - but guess what ... that changes NOTHING! God is God and WE ARE NOT! These things shall pass as He has promised and I pray that you are on the correct side when it happens.
So ... here's what a confused dude wrote me from Tangle.com ... my response follows his letter.

You (like most) have put your HUMAN so called choice ABOVE God's PERFECT Plan of Salvation to save ALL OF MANKIND!
"Having made known unto us the mystery of his WILL, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself." Eph.1:9
There is only ONE thing that God will get pleasure from (according to the scriptures) and it's not sending HIS own CREATURES to a Torture Chamber with no end in sight.
"For thou hast created all things, and for they PLEASURE they were and are created." Rev. 4:11.
"As I live, saith the Lord God, I have NO pleasure in the death of the wicked." Ezek. 33:11.
"The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have PURPOSED so shall it stand for the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? And his hand is stretched out and who shall turn it back?" Isa. 14:24, 27.
"I have spoken it, I WILL also bring it to pass: I have purposed it, I will also do it." Isa. 46:11.
Now God himself says that his will will be accomplished and here's his will:
"Who WILL (not maybe) have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1 Tim. 2:4.
If we don't believe that God will save ALL of mankind then we are saying this:
1. Your will can ultimately override, or is more powerful than God's?
2. You believe the works of evil in whatever form will triumph over God?
3.You believe God was broadsided by evil and is unable to straighten it all out?
4. You must believe that Jesus' prayer was not answered when he said" Thy will we done."
5. You can't honestly believe that Paul was given a mystery that was kept secret BEFORE the world was created. (Rom. 16:25)
The truth of the matter is this concerning those who refuse to believe the COMPLETE revelation of God as taught by Paul.
You and others that believe in the lie of FREE Will and not the PERFECT Plan of God to save ALL of his creations can relate to this scripture:
"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the ... CREATURE (self) ... more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever." Rom. 1:25.

Tony, Tony, Tony. Folks, I don't even know what I could have said to awaken this spirited fella, but truth is every scripture he used above was a self-imposed dissection of the truths of God and His Holy Word. This is the sort of deceit God is speaking of will come in the end times. Read ALL of the Holy Bible folks or you'll get sucked in to the lies and propoganda that the devil is spewing about through many many people whom claim themselves to be Christian (Obama!).
If you are feeling mislead by either him OR ME, read the full passages of ALL the scripture put forth before you in this blog today. Find the truth for yourselves and stop letting people tell you what YOU SHOULD BELIEVE BECAUSE THEY SAID SO Seek Jesus and see if He doesn't bless you with more truth than your human mind can nearly handle.
Okay ... enough of this - this is my response to this wayward bro, and may God bless you with the truth straight from Him, Our Mighty Lord and Creator Yahweh!

Everything SHOULD ... but not ALL will. Your answers to your rebuke are right before you - you just need to open your eyes to the truth. You can't nickpick the Bible or bypass His messages as you see fit ... well, you CAN - but it will have no affect on the truth or on the outcome. Read the Bible as a whole not as a buffet, brother. You can do as you please in this life, but if you think you can live like Hell and still get into heaven - you have a REAL BAD eternity ahead of you my friend.
What set you off and made you decide to send me a self-righteous email like this anyway? I haven't even been on this sight in ages!
Anyway - do yourself a favor and treat God like the Creator He is and do as He says, not as you see fit - and you'll be fine. No point in arguing an obviously mute point, because no matter what you or I think, God is God and He will keep His promises as HE has laid them out, not as humans see fit. God says the path is narrow and few will actually make it. What EXACTLY did you think He meant by that brother. Jesus said if you are luke warm, He will spew you out. What? Do you think He's going to spew you into heaven? Get a grip and see it for what it means - not what you choose it to be! It's not like the Bible is hard to understand man ... it's cut and dried bro. Jesus said if you love Him you will obey His commandments. So the question is, do you love Him? Do you accept Him? I do. I'm good. Best look after yourself bro ... I'm not the one slinging my own misinterpreted propoganda about!

I had some correspondence with Tony too, trying to point out that is clear from the Bible that not all will be saved. However, we don't know the amount or percentage of saved people.
ReplyDeleteOn one occasion (Mat 7:14), we read that not many will be saved; on the other hand Jesus tells that in mill one will be taken and the other left, so if we take it literally, it would be 50% saved.
So let's leave it up to God.
But I wanted to react on your statement that people are so desperate to leave their life they see fit without consequences. I beleive this is not issue here. We can't judge the lifestyle of Tony, especially because we don't know him. I beleive the need to hear what Tony proclaims is totally elsewhere: it's the same reason some folks in the old church were baptizing for the dead: I want to see my non-Christian (or better yet, non-Really-Christian) siblings and friends that passed away and I want to be comforted that they don't suffer, that they are OK. This is the hope that Bible doesn't offer and Tony does, so that's why many people want it to be true.
However, back to Tony and his motivation: What is his motivation anyway, going around convincing people that they are saved and don't have to do anything? Why doesn't he just lay back and enjoy if that is the case?
